Week 20. At the time I began this painting, she was the length of a banana, paired here with the Green Emerald Hummingbird species that rarely flies out in the open-much like our baby girl, thriving safely in the protection of my womb. I researched, and found inspiration in the work of female artist Hilma af Klint, and her theory of non-objective abstraction.
