Connection is the calling that I respond to. I want to facilitate more connection, familiarity, comfort, knowledge and happiness in the world we sometimes simply find ourselves only existing in. I create art to spark that connection between viewer and artist. Between viewer and collector. Between viewer and gallery owner. Between multiple viewers. I believe that if there is more connection, then there will be more understanding. And understanding leads to peace, and erases fear. As an artist, I am, in effect, seeking peace, unity, and connection.

 

I like to use a lot of colors, exaggerate features, press lots of texture, create quirky, fun pieces that catch the eyes and make one wonder, think and question. I want to make the world a place where communication is easy, and connection to others is open, accepting, and we become excited about our continued evolution. I want those who question to have their imagination ignited, and the viewer energized.
