Longleaf Pine Handmade Bench

Handcrafted bench made from old growth Longleaf Pine beams salvaged from the renovation of a home on Lydia Street in Louisville, Kentucky. The home was built in the year 1900 (125 years old).  The trees used for timber ranged in age from 150 to 250 years old (year 1650) when they were cut down.  This can be seen in the tight end grain rings.
